I purchased this in a Philosophy sample kit. I used it while on vacation because the bottles were small enough to get on the airplane with. During vacation it worked wonderfully but I was in a cold climate where I didn't sweat much. When I got home it quickly became inadequate for controlling my oil & acne. It wouldn't cut the oil on my face enough to wash it off :-( Which makes me sad because I liked it so much while on vacation I bought the HUGE bottle and now I can't use it..

I started using this product 3 1/2 years ago after my wedding. It has been the gateway to many other products in the Philosophy line. At 32 years old, my skin looks great and I know it will stay looking young. I recommend the entire line.

Purity has the correct name...simple to use, cleanses the skin and tones it at same time leaving my 50 some year old face feeling soft and smooth.
Highly recommended, haved ordered it several times after using numerous well known cleansers.

Parabens are a group of compounds widely used in cosmetics, lotions, moisturizers & even mascara. Parabens are absorbed through the skin from you moisturizer etc. Measurable concentrations of six types of parabens have been identified in biopsy samples of breast tumors.
