Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Highly Effective
Great Training Tool. you can use low voltage to make sure you are being very humane. My Lab was out of control, but after a month of controled training, I shelfed this product and now enjoy a well mannared stable dog. MAKE SURE YOU FOLLOW THE TRAINING DIRECTIONS!! or this tool can just be a form of animal toture.
I would highly recommend this.

Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - Not for stubborn dogs
I tried this product on a stray that showed up at the house. The dog was in poor condition so we took her in but she had a problem with chasing the cats and running off across the road. I got the collar in an effort to prevent her chasing the cats and getting hit by a car. The collar however at its highest setting doesn't even phase her, she just keeps doing whatever she was doing. The beep will always get her attention if she is within about 10 yards but after that shes gone again. Also I had a ... Read More

Rating: 5 out of 5 stars - Great product!
We were at our wit's end trying to stop one of our dogs from chasing rabbits and squirrels across the nearby street. I hated to resort to a "shock collar" - it sounds so inhumane - but we decided to give PetSafe a try. I used it on myself, and it doesn't actually hurt so much as feel really weird and uncomfortable. I made sure to look up the proper methods for e-collar training on dogs (http://www.uwsp.edu/PSYCH/dog/LA/castle3.htm), and within a week, our crazy hunter was staying near us and mostly ... Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - 2 rowdy dogs
I have to rowdy dogs at home who just turned over 9 months and they are very much still in that puppy stage. They are constantly running around and biting each other but they do actually like each other. After my dogs chewed up my carpet and part of my bathroom wall I reached my breaking point and realized that they really didn't take me serious when I scolded them. I was hesitant as many people are to use a shock collar but my only other option was to find a different home for at least one of them ... Read More

Rating: 2 out of 5 stars - Works Sometimes
The collar only works sometimes. I checked the connections with the neon lamp and it is lighting up but my dog is not feeling a charge 80-90% of the time even when it's set at 8 or 9. I switched to the longer probs and it still isn't working as promised. My next option is to shave his neck and try to improve contact that way. I noticed that the button sometimes sticks in the charge position and if it happens to be the time that the dog is actually feeling the charge he jumps several times becasue ... Read More
