Rating: 1 out of 5 stars - Not good
The watering balls did not work at all for me. I tried them in several different pots with no luck. The only time my plants were watered is when I lifted the balls out of the dirt. I had hoped that at least they would be decorations in the pots, put they are very heavy.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Water anyone?
These things do exactly what they are supposed to do and look great doing it. We have had everyone who has seen them make a comment about how cool they look. They are easy to fill, keep the plant watered and nice to look at.

Rating: 4 out of 5 stars - Glass Watering Ball, Mar. 2008
This product held sufficient water to feed two plants in 8" pots for two weeks. Climate was controlled by lowering indoor temp. Might not serve as well in outdoor windy conditions. Product seems fragile, having long glass tube. I consider it a good value. It served my purpose.

I'm looking for alternatives that are maybe not so breakable, since I'm a bit of a klutz! They are kind of hard to fill and when dirt gets stuck in the end it takes some work to get it out. If I knew I wouldn't break ... Read More
